Snuffly baby

My 7 week old baby has had a cold/blocked nose for the past 5 weeks. I’ve been to the drs about it around 2 weeks ago and they have said it’s just common cold.

Not sure if this is still completely normal or whether to take her back.

I have tired saline drops and I do have a snot sucker thing but she sounds so blocked up she can’t really breathe when she’s feeding.

Thank you!

occasionally, but nothing too concerning. Just more the blocked nose😩

Try Sterimar baby nasal spray. Check label to see if she's old enough. They have two. One for babies and one for older children

Yes agree with using the steri spray! And then the frida mom snot sucker!

Snuffly noses can often be an intolerance to something so like your washing detergent or a scent in the house, an allergy of some sort, or even silent reflux.
I would just touch base with the doctors again and ask if it could be any of the above and if so how to figure it out.

We are having the same issues, I think babies have loads of congestion from being in the womb also so this takes a little while to clear. I let bub sit in the bathroom with me when I have a shower so the steam clears it a bit and yeah just the saline spray etc and let them sit up on you sometimes so it drains a bit rather than always being laid down, but not much we can do otherwise x

My baby was like this, we discovered it was linked to an intolerance. Does baby have any other symptoms? Mine had a rash, weepy eyes and would sneeze xx

yes she has a rash on her face/neck, her eye is weeping and she does sneeze!xx
