Mother’s Day!

I would be upset to, a card doesn’t cost a lot

he stormed out and said I will buy you a card but we won’t go out anywhere as I have no money he got paid on Friday???

Weather is lovely where I am today. A nice family walk costs nothing.. although a card can cost 90p or less in some shops.

I would say it’s not about spending money, it’s about not putting effort in on a day thats very special for you as it’s your first one!
I wouldn’t let this spoil your entire day as you deserve to feel happy today x

I’m so sorry to hear that. Happy Mothers Day Mama. You’re not in the wrong at all. A little effort costs nothing or indeed very little. I’m so sorry you’re having such an upsetting time for your first Mothers Day.

Sorry but that isn't an excuse, he could have made a card with baby, or even cut some flowers from the garden, or planned a day that's free e.g park, nice walk with a picnic etc.

Yeah, you can go to plenty of shops and get a cheap card, I’d be annoyed. I imagine he’ll expect something on Father’s Day.

Totally not in the wrong. I’m sure he has £1 to buy a card or if not a pen and some paper to make a card? I’d be very upset with this xx

💯 we’re off our for a picnic soon as it’s a lovely sunny day, just to the local forest park. My husbands going to cook dinner. It’s doesn’t cost to put some effort in and have a nice day together.

Sounds very childish to me. It also doesn’t have to cost anything, like someone said above, you could go for a nice walk etc

Return the energy. This is bullshit. How do men get away with this crap?
