Stage 2 formula

We have always used stage 1 formula but we’ve gone too 2 shops today & it’s out of stock. I’ve had to get stage 2. Is it okay to use this for the next few days until we get stage 1 again?

I’ve been told that there is no difference between them.. I go between the 2 depending on what’s in the shop at the time

Yeah, I switch between kendamil first and follow on depending on what's in stock x

Stay on infant formula. Stage 2 only exists as they can advertise it and it’s thicker so sits in their belly longer. Nhs website also advises against it, stay on stage 1 (we were taught by a feeding lady at nct, also Google it) xx

I use aptamil 2 as its always in stock and always on offer in Tescos or boots! My daughter is fine on it and now sleeps through the night without any night feeds

Thanks all! Had to get stage 2 today as had no other option! But will get stage 1 when I can :)
