I've been diary/soy free since LO was 3 weeks old, he's now 3 months old and has ezcema. But, I also have ezcema so I knew there was a possibility he would get it. Milk does contribute to flare ups though. Try cutting diary for a week and see if it clears up.
It usually takes 6m for it to leave the system from what I was told.

And that's only if the eczema is because of only the CMPA. You might find there are other reasons behind it too and it could take longer.
I heard it's 6-8 weeks. That's what my HV said
