My little one has quite thick cradle cap on the top of his head, it looks red and sore. Is there anything I can do to help?

If it is severe and the home remedies don’t work, talk to your pediatrician about using a hydrocortisone or antifungal cream. Always consult your pediatrician before using these types of medicated cream.

coconut oil and a brush or one of them silicone scrubbing brush things, i used coconut oil as my little girl had it in her eyebrows came right off x

I’ve tried already tried this and it just seems like it’s got thicker xx

thank u xx

Soak the head with coconut oil. It will eventually come off

Hey, my baby has it quite severely and I’ve tried lots of things that have been recommended including coconut oil, baby oil, Vaseline, dentinox shampoo, mustela treatment & also just by leaving it. Everything I tried just helped for a day or two then it came back thicker.
I took him to the GP on Friday and have been given an antifungal cream. If it’s not better after 5 days, they will give us a steroid cream. If it’s bad and you can’t get on top of it, I would also speak to your GP.

It will clear after time

any update on the cream?
I’m following for my 2.5 son. He’s always had it on the top of his head and it’s never cleared on its own. Thanks! 🙏

I was using coconut oil and a brush it cleared up but then come back and got infected. I used the detox bar soap and that cleared up the infection, I’m now using a cradle cap soap by the brand mustela and so far so good xx
