We have been trying for over 8 months now, and it gets harder and hared each month. Would love to hear some positive stories so that I keep the hope alive! Also any tips .. lots of people saying it happened when they stopped thinking about it.. how do you do that!!

If it’s worrying you get a fertility MOT. We did as 12mths in as no pregnancy. It actually flagged an issue and we started ivf (we now have 2 babies 🥰) but we would have wasted a long time trying and hoping for it to happen naturally.
8mths really isn’t a long time when you think that’s only 8 periods but I liked taking a bit of control of the situation.
Are you in the uk? A couples MOT is about £350.
How old are you? The NHS refer you for fertility help if over 35 and been trying for over 6 mths
Good luck :) all will work out eventually!!

me and my partner have been trying for 2 years and not been referred. Can I refer myself?

4.5 years for us, it does get harder each time but don’t give up. I was determined to conceive naturally so kept going and now I have my baby girl x

speak to your gp. Normally ivf is not available on the nhs if you already have a child. I would maybe get some private assistance and go from there. Sometimes it’s diet or lifestyle changes that are needed

2.5 years. 2 miscarriages and now I have a 8 month old little girl
I was considering getting fertility testing but I was too scared in case something came back bad.

you won’t get nhs help if you or your partner already have a child you have to pay privately xx

they can refer you to a NHS fertility doctor
