I have just been to meet with the vicar to book the thanksgiving service for my little girl and he has told me it is a free service but a donation to the church is warmly welcomed of any amount we feel comfortable with. Does anyone have any experience with what an appropriate amount to donate is? I don’t want to insult by it being too little and also everything is expensive these days so I don’t want to end up spending way more than I need to either 🤦🏼♀️ the vicar wasn’t very forthcoming about what sort of amount we should be donating! Thanks!!

When we had our oldest christened we made a donation of £150. I asked on here at the time what others had donated and it ranged from £50-£200 I think 🤔 x
