Idk what to do - pregnancy

Just got a positive pregnancy test. Had a miscarriage on 2/2 and started taking birth control 2 weeks ago. I don’t want this pregnancy, but I couldn’t go through with an abortion either. I also don’t have high hopes that that this pregnancy will progress much because I’ve already had 3 loses. I had been ttc for 2 years and now it’s just not what I want rn anymore. Can anyone figure out when I may have ovulated if i bled the week of 2/2? Should I stop taking bc and start prenatals? I don’t think I want to get into a dr appt till I’m further along and see how things go naturally but idk? I feel like my mind is just so all over the place.

Well you probably ovulated around Feb 16th if you have a 28 day cycle. It’s usually like 2 weeks before/after your period. It’s like halfway if you have a different cycle length.
There’s also no shame in having an abortion if a baby/pregnancy is not what you want and can emotionally handle rn. Pregnancy is tough, and I haven’t had any loses.
I’d recommend reaching out to a planned parenthood they can provide counselling, if you’re low income they usually work on a sliding scale for all their services.
If you want to keep this pregnancy you should stop taking bc and start prenatals.
Taking bc won’t really negatively affect your pregnancy if you continue while you decide but it’s not benefiting you in any way rn (well maybe it is idk your hormone levels)

Unfortunately I have very irregular periods 😩 last period was 11/3 before I found out I was pregnant at the end of January and was still too early along to really know when conceived. How long does it typically take for pregnancy to show on a test? I took a test at the drs beginning of march when I got prescribed the bc, and then another the first day I started taking it on 3/16 and both negative. Thank you for your help. I know if I go through with this pregnancy and it’s successful I’ll be happy, I just feel so emotionally drained from all the loses that it’s making me reluctant, plus my relationship feels like it’s slowly on its way out. Just a lot to consider. I will look into the counseling thanks again

Pregnancy tests show when the hcg in the urine is around 25-40 mIU/m. But that’s usually a pretty faint line. I had a faint line and had a blood test the next day and was at 48. Like if you suspect you recently got pregnant, you could take a clearblue one which would give you a weeks indicator up until you’re over 3 weeks pregnant. The most accurate is a blood test and then dating ultrasound lol.
Just be mindful that depending on where you live there may be “pregnancy crisis centres” which do not have trained counselling staff, they are trained to make you keep the baby until it’s too late to have an abortion. Red flags usually include skirting abortion as an option, showing you all this free stuff they can give you, talking about how babies are blessing and generally just like lowkey making it seem like if you have the baby everything will be fine.
Babies always seem to show up right as you give up I swear 😂 I had 4 years of trying and then i was like over it and got pregnant
