Excess gas and not pooping

My baby has trapped wind allll the time and is constantly straining to get it out. We're also currently on day 4 of no poop but even when he does poop, the gas doesn't seem to get any better. The doctors have just said that it's colic and he'll grow out of it. He's mainly bottle fed with expressed milk with a top up of formula at night time. Xx

My girl is only formula fed and she's the same. She does, although, poop once a day whether is a massive poop or a smaller one. I order chamomile tea and fennel tea specific for babies (they need to be over 1 month old) and I'll be trying them. Worst case scenario they won't change anything but at least I can say I've tried.

My little girl is 6 weeks old and the exact same. She's formula fed on cow and gate but poos every 3 days and gets so uncomfortable with straining etc. I went to docs yesterday and they suggested changing the formula to another one. Not sure which to change to but going to give that a try.

Have you tried infacol drops?

We use the frida baby windi, the gaspasser. Works every time! Can literally feel the air coming out and little one also poops every time!!! You can use it up to 3 times a day I think, we only use it when we see our little one struggling, specifically when she cries and nothing works to settle her.

@Ilaria I did buy these but I'm too scared to use them. How old is your daughter? I'm worried I'll damage her insides x

@Jenny yes, tried infacol and dentadox, gripe water and colief. Literally running out of things to try x

She’s 6 weeks ☺️
