So I had this conversation with my husband yesterday, we move house on Thursday and there is fake grass and decking etc and I said I don’t want the dog going in the garden as I want it to be nice for toddler to play anytime xx
@Jade I think we’re going to section ours off, as much as I love my dog I just don’t like the idea of my toddler sometimes sitting etc on the same place she poos. We pick up after our dog if she does do it on the grass but sometimes it’s impossible to get every bit off depending on how her poo is lol
That’s it I feel like now they are so mobile it’s just easier to keep dogs and kids separate 😂
We have a fussy dog who won't poo in our garden, he saves it for real grass instead of the artificial grass we have 😂😂 So him and our toddler both share the garden. Every now and again I have to hose down the garden toys when I think the dogs wee might've gone on them.
Ours usually goes while we’re out on walks but at least a couple times a day will go in the back garden which is sometimes a poo. I make sure any poo is picked up every time we go out to play, and honestly it’s a Huge garden and I’m not really worried about the wees. Like I’m happy to walk around out there barefoot just like I would in a park if that makes sense. Baby is always on a blanket anyway and toddler doesn’t ever stop to sit down 😅
