How are you feeding LO? If BF then they don't really need to burp in the night as much, sometimes they pass wind instead. Is LO uncomfortable or do they seem content? Maybe they just don't need to burp? Mine often doesn't in the night
I’m having the same problem right this moment 😩 all night tonight he hasn’t let up one burp, but he is farting away! He’s 8 weeks old x
I’ve found a great way to burp a sleeping baby! Hold baby upright on your leg and whilst supporting their chin and back move their whole upper body in a a circular motion and then after a few circles, switch direction.. every not and again pat and rub their back too. I saw it on a reel on Instagram and it actually works!
Hopefully I explained it ok!
@Isabelle please I don’t understand can you explain again

I sometimes try putting mine on her tummy for a moment on her changing mat before changing her and she'll often self burp
If ever my baby falls asleep during a feed then I don’t burp him. So I never burp him through the night. Sometimes in the morning when I pick him up and put him to my shoulder he just naturally burps. If he needs to burp ever then he will wake up and start wriggling around all uncomfortable but during in the night that’s only happened about 5 times and he’s 10 weeks. Although you’re ’supposed to’ burp a baby after every feed I do think you have to just do what works for you. If I burp my baby when he’s not showing signs then it wakes him and he cries and is sick! X
I’m having the same problem right not!
