We potty trained my little one at 20 months. We used a family toilet seat instead of a potty. You just need to replace the current toilet seat and lid with this family one. I believe it was easier for her this way since she was already familiar, seeing us use the toilet. And we added some steps so she can sit by herself. Then we did the bottoms out approach for a few days. Mainly to recognize her schedule and get her to feel uncomfy. Undies are also ok I read, but the ideas is for them to feel uncomfortable witv the wetness. We also use sticker or like wooden stars on a jar that gets filled up every time they pee in the toilet to keep her motivated. And for pooping we would read a short book to help her relax. We were able to potty trained in a couple of days. Good luck!

Also, creating associations! Every time we saw her peeing we would take her to the toilet and have her finish there. That way she associated peeing there. There was a lot of cleaning 😔 but it made the process so much faster.

I’m trying to port train my 22 month old bust she’s a little harder than my son was! With him I let him run around with no diaper on and took him potty every 20-30 mins and used the celebration and cheering when he went in the potty. Took about a week to get him potty trained. But I also waited until he was about 2 1/2 .
