Potty training ?

I was bathing my little girl this evening and she kept pointing at her bum saying “mummy poo” “mummy poo” I just thought she was saying it so replied poo, wee and made a little song 😂🤣 anyway she started screaming “ no poo” “no poo” so I took her out and popped her over the loo ( we don’t have a potty yet) and well she did a poo I’ve never been so happy to see poo in my life, do you reckon we should introduce the potty now she knows and can tell me? Or see if she does it more as it could be a one off. Has anyone else started? I feel she’s too little 🥹🥹

I would get one or just a training toilet seat for her and if she mentions it again then try her on it xx

That's fantastic! Definitely try and carry it on. What a clever bean!

Thanks ladies, I’ve ordered a potty so we will see how she goes, most likely she will think it’s a new hat as everything goes on her head 😂😂

I started mine after her 1st birthday and now she does always her morning pee in there, now she starts to ask me to go. Obviously I never properly trained her but every time I had to go I put her in and sometimes is a hit and some is a miss but I figured it cost me nothing to do it that way and whenever I feel she is really I can remove the nappies (or if she gets older) for now is just a game that is becoming a skill without effort. She ask me many times a day now (16months) but obviously still uses her nappies .

Update guys, the potty came today and she’s used it twice 🩷

Amazing! I’ve been considering starting but haven’t had such clear signs that she’s ready
