My son^😂😂
Mine, too. It's been a year plus. So what we do now is he wears boxers during the day and he tells us when he wants to wee then we go to the toilet and then when he wants to poo, he tells us but he doesn't want the potty so we wear him diapers to poo. Some of them just hate the idea. Ut can be very frustrating, but we will get there. Patience and empathy
My daughter is exactly the same she was fully trained using the toilet for about 7 weeks then all of a sudden just doesnt say anything and holds her wee until she has an accident its so so frustrating i ask her and she says no then literally just wees her pants infront of my face i hate to admit it but im just getting so angry inside with it now 😭
Hey! Assuming you’re already trying with rewards? My eldest was really into the star chart when we trained her, my son wasn’t into that, what we did with him was give a chocolate button every time he used the potty. That seemed to really work. We also did the star chart alongside this, so once he’d filled it, we stopped with the chocolate and got him a ‘special’ gift to signal the end of his training. Good luck! It’s hard work! But you’ll get there xx
Potty training can be so hard. I experienced it with my poo. Blood sweat and tears got him to where he now. He now uses the potty by himself without prompting and is wearing pants. Whereas before he would not sit on the potty and we had to encourage him to by sitting him on the potty and taking his mind elsewhere like with looking at photos of family members and in time he then just liked sitting on it and then he where he is now . We started him in pullups not long after starting and just kept asking him where he goes when he needs and wee x
