Confused around due date

Hi everyone, I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with my first baby and I’m over the moon! The start date of my last period was 1st March however I tracked my ovulation and I had a positive ovulation test on 23rd march (I am prone to irregular ovulation). Most websites work out my due date based off of my last period but with my delayed ovulation, I assume this change the due date? Anyone know how this works? I don’t know if I’m 5 weeks or 6 weeks.

I’d have said you’re just under 5 wks! Calc time since ovulation and add 2 wks

Yes add 2 weeks to ovulation date. I ovulated 2 weeks late with my second, went for my 12 week scan (based on LMP date) and was only 10 weeks

More likely to be 5 weeks going by your ovulation date but NHS will use the date of your last period to initially ‘date’ the pregnancy so will give you your booking appointment and first scan based on this. At your 12 week scan, they will give you a due date based on the measurements of the baby and at this point ovulation date and date of last period will go out the window. The due date given at this scan is the one they will use from this point forward and won’t change throughout your pregnancy x

Thank you everyone, that’s so helpful x

We have the exact same dates 🥰
