I haven’t been in labour yet but I’ve been using one to help with pelvic girdle pain and it’s great Definitely worth trying, especially if you can borrow one!
They say you have to use it for a few weeks before hand for your body to respond to it in labour
Yes I used one with my first. I found it so so helpful when labouring at home when you have no access to pain relief!! It worked for me. Then I moved onto gas and air once I got to hospital and labour was further along. I am definitely planning to use it again with my second x
Thanks everyone I’ll get it off my friend in the next week so I can try it at home first from 35/36 ish weeks
Yes used it with my first and planning on doing it again, I had it on until I was in active labour and it really helped managing contractions at home. You’re not meant to try it on beforehand though
I have one I used for my first baby. It did help with contraction pains for me but I also used gas
