I'm just wondering if anyone else has found this.
I want to start it by saying I'm actually now going fully alcohol free because I'm a little freaked out by it, I've also never hurt my child, nor do I ever want to even think of hurting them, mentally or physically.
I've found, since having my LO that I can get really annoyed/ irritable when dealing with them days after having a drink.
I wasn't sure what the link was for a while but then I always found a day or two after I would have a drink, I would get really irritated with my LO when they were fussing or crying etc.
I always caught myself and took a deep breath, but there were a few times I felt I was too harsh towards them (I never hurt my child but I was genuinely scared I might)
My LO is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me, so this really freaked me out & I've decided it's time to go alcohol free.
Am I the only one?

Alcohol is a depressant and this is quite common. I hardly drank the year I got pregnant as I would have really bad anxiety and low mood for a week after even if it was just 2/3 drinks. After having my baby I’ve had a drink once and the same thing happened, I just don’t want to be that person so I stopped all together and I don’t miss it at all.
It’s good that you’ve made the link and identified the problem, now it’s on you to make sure you look after yourself and in turn you’re looking after your little one x
