Teething?

Hey girlies. Does it look like teething? How long do we think before we see his first tooth? He’s just turned 15 weeks (Boxing Day baby) constantly dribbling and eating his hands. Recommendations for teething toys too please 🩵

My little one is similar age and has three through. But they are all side teeth. We’ve just got ours the infatot teething toy and works well. We always recommended boots teething powder seems to help more then anything else

Hey, boxing day baby here too! 👋 My girl had the teething symptoms, irritated, red cheek, drooling. Turns out a lot of it was just developmental. Especially the drooling and hands in the mouth. It lasted a few days and went away. I do know however for some babies it takes months for the first teeth to cut through, but if your little one is irritated constantly maybe worth trying a teething powder to help. P.s looking at the picture can definitely see the teeth coming through, hang in there mamma xx

my little girl is 15 weeks today and she’s defo started teething now!!! She was just inconsolable, a really painful cry and she’s always dribbling and putting her hands in her mouth lately! 😫 I need allll the advice I can get x

Just come to say awww this is such a cute pic haha

My baby was a 28th preemie! She was 6 weeks early, and I’m SURE she’s starting to teethe. She hasn’t got great hand coordination yet so can’t hold anything but she hasn’t been putting her hands in her mouth and has started chomping on the dummy a fair bit instead of sucking, she hasn’t been upset too with crying, she’s usually only upset when hungry. I thought it can’t be, especially as a prem but maybe she is! X

@Charlotte my first was a 34 weeker and he started teething at 12 weeks, I was shocked too I assumed he'd be late! X

@Charlotte just wanted to say I have a 6 week preemie girl born on the 24th!

@Lauren oh wow really? Yeah I googled it (i know that doesn’t mean it’s true) but it did say they’d usually teethe based off their corrected age. But I guess some babies are born with teeth right? So it’s probably no different at all. X

@Madeleine awww bless! Hope she’s all ok. We spent 4 weeks in nicu ☹️ but she’s thriving now and I’m so pleased we got some extra time with her ❤️ x

My little boy is two weeks older than yours and his teeth cut through two weeks ago, so it’s definitely possible. His gums started bulging like that a few days before. I think you’re likely to see them within the week.

@Charlotte same, exactly 4 weeks in neonatal but doing so well now! Our babies are so strong 💜💜

Such a cute photo! 😍 Amazing how you can see the little teeth beneath the gums!
