Oh yes. I’ve people telling me not to only for the 1st trimester. After that I guess I can go but honestly I want to start being active from as early as I can.
I worked out throughout both pregnancies, the suggestion is to not start anything new (like don’t begin to train for a marathon if you’ve never run before lol) and to make sure you stay cool, hydrated, and able to hold a conversation throughout (so skip HIIT for now). Avoid anything that could potentially bump your belly like kickboxing. Weightlifting (you’ll need to modify some exercises to make it bump safe as your center of balance will shift as baby grows) and walking are excellent during pregnancy
@Emiline thank you so much! 🫶🏻
I like this podcast for information on training during pregnancy https://open.spotify.com/show/30YcaNUY7eLUP4W0RkPeQ5?si=Zths2we7QHO421MbFTxd0w It's recommended to check with your doctor if there are any contraindications to training during pregnancy, but if not, it can be done safely.
Talk to your OB but I don’t see why not. People go to the gym up until they’re 9months pregnant
