Wake windows
My LO (2 weeks old) has started opening his eyes more and having longer wake windows. What are we doing during this time to keep them entertained?

Wake windows are small, 30-45 mins, so feed and looking into your eyes is all they really need :) don’t feel the need to entertain them, they are adjusting to life outside the womb 💓
My LB is 2and a half weeks and when he’s in a wake window, we have just been singing nursery rhymes, put him on his play mat or looked at black & white cards with him. I know he doesn’t need much entertainment but he has started to pay more attention as the days go on xx
They don’t need entertaining yet, let them look around their surroundings or take them in the garden. I used to do things around the house while singing to baby or just commentating what I was doing. She would watch me fold washing like I was Ms. Rachel🤣 x

They don’t really need entertaining at 2 weeks old tbh. They can’t see much and are just looking for comfort. Give lots of snuggles
