After his bath, once we are putting his jammies on before stories and sleep. We tell him he still needs a nappy at night to help keep his bum warm 😂 my little one has been potty trained during the day since just after he turned 2. He’s 3 now and still not dry at night but it’ll come with time ☺️
My daughter is 5, still wearing a pull up at night. We have had 1 week of being completely dry. (Dry during the day since 2!) I’d carry on putting a pull up on at nighttime until dry. Night time dryness is hormonal, it’s not trained!!
@Jasmine I didn’t know this! We are potty training in a month I’m glad I figured this out 🫠
@🩷 Patience 🩷 yes. Definitely have a google. A chemical has to be realised to basically tell the bladder to hold the wee & for the brain to wake them up for a wee. Can happen anywhere between the ages of 2-8 years old. It’s nothing to worry about or put pressure on. Like I said, my daughter is 5 & just about there with nighttime dryness xx
I put "bedtime underwear" (pull up) on when we change into jammie pants. Take off pants and daytime undies and put on "bedtime undies." Sometimes she'll ask to wear daytime underwear over her bedtime undies 🤷♀️ She's 2.25 and has been in underwear for about a month after having been in pull ups for about 6 months
@Jasmine thank you! I remember I didn’t stop wetting my bed till I was 6 lol I guess my mom didn’t know that either should’ve had pull ups Thank you for telling me
After bath, before PJs. I got her a different brand and call them “night pants”
After he has gone to the toilet and when he gets changed into his pyjamas. I've never done a long bedtime routine with him though. I would call it his nighttime nappy.
Thank you @Ema @Tash @Jasmine @🩷 Patience 🩷 @Charlotte @Roberta @Jess all very helpful! :)
Usually as I change her into her Pjs it goes on. We only stopped after weeks of no accidents at night
