Toilet training

I’m starting this week, don’t know if what I am doing is ‘correct’ but the way I am planning to do it is have his nappy off all day (I’ve got wooden floor in my front room so it makes it easier) and every time he starts to wee put him on the potty and over praise him and give him chocolate so with time he learns that that is where he is supposed to go wee.

Visual aids/flash cards with the steps/process of using the potty - you can make them or buy things by searching in google - keeping simple language - exposing them to you using the toilet and showing the steps/bringing them to the toilet/potty to attempt showing the process everyday - lots of positive reinforcement for showing any interest/not reprimanding accidents - putting them in underwear to allow for them to feel the sensation of being wet
