Potty training!

We have a potty in our living room that my daughter likes to sit on sometimes (with clothes on) it has a flush and she likes to push the button etc. we have started to show her her poo in her nappy when cleaning her up and really telling her if she’s done a poo or wee so she can start to recognise this. I’ve tried to put her on the potty once or twice with no nappy on but she doesn’t like it yet so not going to force it! They say to wait until they are communicating with you their poo’s and wee’s so we are also waiting for those cues, she has only told me once or twice before that she’s had a poo and went and got a nappy for me xx

@Erin ah thanks! I’m picking up a potty today.. my son tells me every time he poops so I’m hoping that’s a sign… just needs to tell me a bit earlier 😂

That’s really good he tells you that!! Just follow his lead with the potty see how he reacts to it etc, a lot of people say to put them on it after every nappy change etc xxx

Definitely a good sign to start introducing it. What potty did you go for?

@Erin what potty did you get? I’ve literally been going back and forth with what one to get for like 3 weeks now. I’m so indecisive 🤦🏽‍♀️ I need recommendations lol. Every time I decide on one I read a bad review and get put off 😂
