Scared

I’m about 4 weeks. Last cycle I lost the baby and it didn’t grow past a tiny sac. Is there anything I can do to make sure this grows? Does anyone recommend taking cyclogest?

Theres nothing you can really do, if it doesn’t develop it isnt your fault! Try and take prenatals with folic acid in and omega 3s, stay hydrated, eat as healthy as you feel able and to rest as much as you can too.

Im so sorry. The baby after a loss is really scary! There's nothing you can do (stay off google). Unless you're drinking like 8 cups of coffee a day, it's almost always a chromosome issue and it's not a healthy baby that you would want to bring into this world. I did a lot of positive affirmations that I would repeat no joke a hundred times a day (my baby is healthy, my baby is growing, my baby is strong) and it made a huge difference mentally. Fingers crossed for you!!!

Dr Google told me you’re more likely to have a healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage.. but the paranoia is unreal and waiting another 2 weeks for a scan feels like absolute torture. Positive vibes and prayers please x

I’m about 4+1

You can request cyclogest (progesterone pessaries) from pregnancy unit. I had the same issue as you twice and I've been on these for 3 months now. They help maintain the pregnancy, and also just avoid the obvious like alcohol smoking certain foods etc xx

I can’t imagine the magnitude of worry you must be feeling. Sometimes it happens and we may not understand why but we must trust that God has a bigger purpose we don’t understand yet. Pray and ask for peace during this difficult period of waiting…even through past healthy pregnancies I still worried about my current baby but I chose to trust in Jesus that he would carry us through and I believe he has and will continue to do so even for you as well
