Clothing STRESS
First time mum here so finding clothing a little stressful. What I have learnt is that baby will wear +1 layer to what we are wearing. So in June / July they will still wear two layers??
I have bought a pack vest top
I have bought a pack of short sleeve
I have a couple of sleep suit outfits.. long arms and legs.
Am I doing this right? Will the baby generally be in sleep suits? Even in June / July weather?

All depends how hot it genuinely is my June 2021 lb was heatwave day times it was a vest and short sleeve and leg rompers some days other days it was sleep suit just depends you have to pay it by ear and just trial and error it's easier to take a layer off than to add one on
It does generally depend on the actual temperature but it’s good to have a stack of vests (short and no sleeve) as you’ll likely go through a fair few of them with early leaks / blow outs etc. As babies cannot control their own temperature they need that extra layer.
Sleepsuits is personal preference - overnight for sure but during the day is up to you! We preferred them as I find outfits faffy but you might not x
You need to list your location and indoor temps so people cab better advise x
If baby is born jun/ july youll most likely be swaddling them so they probably wont wear a sleep suit.
Unless your climate is so cold they need it on before swaddle or if they are a rare baby that doenst like being swaddled
In general they will wear a vest and sleepsuit. My boy was a July baby and this is what he wore
If it was a hot day depending on how hot it was he was just either in a vest or nappy
I used an app called ‘baby weather’ which it’ll tell you what to dress baby in based on their age and the temp in your location :) xx
