So my little girl had her 8 week jabs this morning - as well as the rotavirus vaccine orally. My little girl has obviously only ever had milk so I made a comment whilst the nurse was administering it like 'ooo what's that new taste!'
The nurse goes 'here mummy you try it, it's very sweet' and put quite a big blob on my finger for me to taste. Thinking now surely that should of all gone to my baby but whatever š
Well now I've had diarrhea for the past couple hours and sickness/diarrhea is one of the side effects. Surely a small amount wouldn't have affected me that bad!
Today's been fun looking after a grouchy baby and sitting on the toilet lots š¤¦š¼āāļø

We just had ours too but the nurse told us to keep washing our hands as we dont want to consume any of it as its live virus and will cause diarrhoea.
I'm sorry you had to go through it. Keep hydrated :)

Thatās so bizarre they gave that to you! It definitely causes diarrhoea! You have to ensure everything is wiped down including the changing mat constantly as itās a live vaccine. What a strange nurse š x

I would make a complaint to the surgery x

The nurse that done my daughters. Told us we had to wash out hands constantly as itās a live virus that comes out in their poo. So she shouldnāt have given it to you.

I second this...
