I've had hemorrhoids now for around 4 weeks. The pain started to get better but has worsened again and the fear of going is stopping me. I know holding makes it worse but I just can't go out of pure fear. The pain is so much worse than childbirth. All help is appreciated!
I have a Dr's appointment next week but need help before then.

You need a pelvic floor physical therapist consult. Trust me, I’ve been there. Go ahead and call around to pelvic floor physical therapist offices and make an appointment now because there’s often quite a long wait for new patient appointments for pelvic floor PT. You can go ahead and message your OB that you’ll want to referral to pelvic for PT and get their referrals department to start working on it too. Made a world of a difference for me! Really, everyone should go to pelvic PT after childbirth IMO!!

Take butcher’s broom and horse chestnut daily! It works wonders for me. And colace 3x a day. I know pooping is scary, but its way better to do it than get constipated. Lidocaine spray from preparation h. Make sure to get the one that has the vasoconstrictor. And ICE!

Currently struggling with the same 😣
I had one before/during birth
That went away immediately after but I had one hard bowel movement this week and at 3 weeks pp I now have a larger hemorrhoid
I think it is in fact a pelvic floor issue because I had also gotten over some pain when urinating and had a day I did too much physically and well now that pain came back in addition to the hemorrhoid 😩

The best thing I took was Miralax and drank a ton of water. Not to be graffiti but my first poo literally slid right out. The doctor that helped deliver my baby vaginally said Miralax is her recommendation not colace. It helps draw water to make that bowel movement smooth sailing. Hope that helps
