Hospital bag

Im due at the very beginning of may and have yet to pack my hospital bag or even make a list. What did you guys pack for yourself, not for baby or partner. What were some of your must haves and not essentials but nice to haves?

I just packed mines, I'm due in May 8th. I ended up doing two bags. One for me, one for baby.

For me, a couple comfortable PJs, robe just in case and 1 comfortable outfit for heading home. Nipple cream. My hospital provides the adult portpartum care products but brought a couple of the always underwear for postpartum just in case, I will use em as well when I get home. And I did buy the cooling perineal healing foam. Did my stork run this weekend so that helped me evaluate what the hospital has and do not have for baby and me. Lastly, toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste.

For baby, I have my 1st photo baby swaddle, 2 zip-up onesie and baby blanket. The hospital said they will have baby diapers along with breast pump so there is no need to bring them. Also, car seat is the most important. I also brought a nail filer for baby just in case he has long nails.

As for Dad, he will be bringing a pillow for himself, change of clothes and all the chargers lol

Im taking a pillow that turns to a blanket, one outfit for going home, small toiletries, iPad, my documents, charger, fuzzy socks and then his stuff is a swaddle, 2 burp clothes, a paci, lotion, name sign, beanie, and going home fit. With my first I took a whole suitcase and didn’t even touch anything cuz I was out within a day

Great lists so far! I’ll just add that I loved bringing a small speaker last time to play music while I was in labor. And I’m bringing nipple shields just in case because I needed them last time and a nurse didn’t offer until the last minute. And I loved having my Boppy pillow
