Little girl is 1 month old and is experiencing problems with wind. Not enough to consider it colic or reflux, she just struggles to pass wind after a feed. I know it’s a normal phase but wondered if using gripe water had helped anyone?

We used it for the first time last night on our little boy (6 weeks old) and it must have helped his tummy because he slept his longest stretch between feeds last night rather than waking constantly in discomfort! May have just been a fluke but I’m sure it worked!

Been using it for my little girl and it’s been the only thing that’s worked for us!

Sounds promising thanks guys! She was such a good sleeper before the wind problems 😅

We use infacol before every feed and has helped (not cured)!

thanks, started with gripe water tonight so will consider this if it doesn’t work

Update: we used gripe water last night and not sure if it was a fluke, but she slept so well. No tummy issues. She also did a 4 hour stretch initially! So I’ve managed to catch up on some much needed sleep 🥰

we’ve just got back from our 6 week check and baby boy has been prescribed some infant gaviscon - the doctor said he is very refluxy!

aww I’ll ask the same at my check too! Thanks for letting me know x
