You can’t get welfare and be living with the significant other. They will start a case regardless to get back the money you’re getting in cash aid or food stamps

He doesn’t live in the same house. I told case worker we’re getting married in Oct and I was told I would loose my medical and my portion of benefits and I was ok with that but then they went head n filed a case against him and took my portion away

You can’t get any cash-aid for you or children otherwise they will file a case against him.
If living with him or married you will have to add him to the case and they will count his income to determine your amount

I’m in a similar situation and I was told if he lives with you they will open a case but he will owe nothing and it’ll close out by itself but if he isn’t living in the house there has to be proof and even than they don’t care. If you are on welfare and the other isn’t in the same house you will either have to get off or he has to live with you. They don’t give you many options
