Help please mamas! My 4 and a half week old is formula fed on C&G milk and is a nightmare to burp after wards! he grunts in his sleep and as the night goes on he starts to thrash his legs around and grunt even more and it sounds like he’s coughing. I think it is definitely trapped gas but how do I know if there is more too it as I’ve seen people say it could be a milk allergy or silent reflux? Would changing formula help or is this something he will just grow out of as he digestive system develops? I just feel so bad seeing him thrashing round the next to me at night time! :(

Could also to be to do with latch. We’ve had this issue & turned out my 4 week old had tongue tie. NHS didn’t pick it up, but I knew something was up. They also won’t cut if bottle fed. I had to go private to get assessment done.

We had his tounge tie cut last week? Did your little one get his cut too? Did things improve?

We give our daughter infacol before every feed bc she had so much gas. Still has it but not as bad as it was!

Following this - i don’t know what to do for the best with my little girl

Has anyone tried gripe water? I’ve heard that’s good but think you can only use it from 2 months old?

Sounds like reflux which my baby has. The thrashing and grunting are reflux symptoms and for some reason are worse at night with my baby.
Reflux is something they grow out of but I’m about to start baby Gaviscon in hopes that it will help

yes and not yet. I’ve booked to see an osteopath
