May baby is now going to be an April Baby!
So I was kept in overnight last Thursday due to high BP.
On medication now and everything looks to be ok but the consultant said she doesn’t want me going past 39 weeks.
I have a midwife appointment tomorrow to check my BP and urine and I’m wondering if they’ll give me a sweep if I ask. I’d much rather a sweep than being induced further down the line. I’ll be 37 + 5 days.
Also going to the day assessment unit on Friday but not really sure what for yet!

I’ve got high blood pressure and on medication 4 times a day and have had weekly monitoring since January for BP & urine checks. I’m being induced at 39+1 weeks but was originally due on 4th May
I was due 2nd May and had our baby girl today after being kept in on Thursday with preeclampsia. Ended up being born by semi-emergency C-section and she's doing fab 🥰. If you have time to try a sweep, I would ask to. Xxx
They will only be able to do a sweep if your cervix is open xx
