My daughter is 16 weeks old tomorrow and for the life of me I can not get her to nap independently. She will only nap on someone’s chest. She’s okay at night but we’re lucky if we can get her down before 10pm and she will be up for 6/7. Sometimes she wakes for a feed at about 3/4 other times she sleep through the night. I just feel so clueless on where to start or how to even begin to establish a routine. Any advice?

My 13 week old son is like this! We started putting him in his little sleeping bag & popping him in next to me for one nap a day first day he lasted 5 mins but second day it was 30 mins now we can get abojt an hour/1.5 hours x

Did he cry when you first started putting him in the cot? Mine fusses, all confused and at one point he starts to cry. I don’t know if I should just let him 😔

I still get him to sleep then put him down about 5-10 mins and if he starts fussing I keep my hand on his belly so he knows I’m still there x

14 week old and experiencing the same with daytime naps… so hard to get out of 😵💫

11 weeks and exactly the same. Nighttime he sleeps so well independently but during the day, he’s like absolutely not. I tried rocking him to sleep in our room yesterday and putting him down in the next to me, and I got 20 minutes before he realised he wasn’t on someone so fingers crossed I can carry on with it!
