About a month ago I fell on ice and messed my ankle up. I went to the Dr's and had x-rays done but was under the impression that he would have called if something happened instead of me making an appointment to get the results. I'm still dealing with pain and tenderness but there's no bruising on the ankle itself and can barley put any weight on it. I'm gonna be calling today to see what's up but has anyone dealt with this? Was it broke/sprained?

Hey I’m from the uk back in 2020 I went over in my foot I got sever soft tissue damage, I had to wear a moon boot, then a few months ago I went over on my foot again I have X-rays and I got told it was fine just soft tissue damage and nerve damaged. my foot has never been the same since 2020 it swells most of the time and it also randomly bruises all the time I can’t wear trainers because how swollen it gets in when I put them on!, the only thing they will most likely do is tell you to get foot therapy as I have been told to I also can’t rotate my foot properly either.

My doctors office is suppose to call when results are in to make an appointment but they failed to do so and me and hubby are so pissed. And urgh that's the absolute worst! Google not helping much to provide answers either

Ankle breaks/sprains are kind of different for everyone. I've broken mine twice and was walking on it without a boot/cast. Bruising took a few days to come along but also didn't last super long. I'm guessing you have more of a sprain, ankles can just take quite a while to heal. I would contact your doctor again, X-ray results don't take that long to come through and they should have followed up with you (my husband is an ER doc).

Yeah I need to make an appointment again due to missing mine today for an emergency
