Feeling disappointed
I had a sweep last week because I’m scheduled for an induction next week and I wanted to try and speed up the process. Went back for another today and no change was made, still 1cm and cervix long, so I declined a second one because it was painful.
Looks like it’s an induction again 😫

I’ve had a sweep today and I’ve got one Friday before I have an induction Sunday! I really don’t want an induction again but it feels inevitable 😩
I feel you 😫😫. I guess we know what to expect😂. I’ll do everything in my power this time to avoid that damn hormone drip 🤢

Have they said there’s a medical need for induction at that time?
I had 3 sweeps during my induction, the first didn’t hurt, second did but third didn’t - think it depended who did it. In my experience getting the gel inserted for the induction hurt worse! No idea how but it did. The gel & sweep got me to 3cm stretching to 4cm for my waters to be broken and then everything ramped up!

yes thankfully I did as my epidural failed and it was painful enough 😂 hope you can avoid it too!
