How do i increase my milk supply

How do i increase my milk supply, my milk supply was amazing when my baby was first born I was having loads in the fridge and freezer but the more he's been growing and having larger amounts my body isn't producing more I want him to be fully on my breast milk if possible not that anything is wrong with formula but I want to be able to do this for my baby. I've been doing breast and bottle with him. Any tips would be amazing please

do you track how often you pump? i was the same way and i started adding an extra pump session in the loop, drank 2 things of coconut water, and id mix them with the liquid iv and after a week or two i saw my milk supply go up.

@Myah B I try and pump atleast every 3 hours getting under 30ml in each every time unless I breastfeed my baby then the side or sides have less in where he has drank it. I'm just struggling to pump during the night as so exhausted. I haven't tried any coconut water or anything I've just been drinking water and tea when I can find a minute

I’m also in the same position, and also don’t always pump in the night. I was going to try some lactation tea and see if helps and try track pumping to be a bit more efficient with it to increase supply. It’s just exhausting tho ain’t it 🤦‍♀️😴

@Jade I was tracking my pumping before when my baby was in the nicu as there bottles read the amount I produced correctly but now pumping it and being at home the bags don't tell me the right amount so it's hard to record it. but yes it's very exhausting especially where he's feeding ever 3/4 hours and not settling straight away and I can't cuddle him properly when pumping I'm loosing more and more sleep

Along with coconut water u could try eating a tablespoon of coconut oil a day (I add some to my oatmeal), eating oats/oatmeal can help too, drinking non alcoholic beer, adding an extra pump session, and adding nutritional yeast to savory meals
I recently got in a milk slump and doing all of this increases my supply back up
I also heard abt if u add used camomile tea bags to ur bra at night increases supply but I haven’t tried it yet

Breastfeeding is based on supply and demand so the more milk you remove the more your body will produce. Also, the amount of milk you express is not an indication of your milk supply. Babies are also more efficient at removing milk from the breast than a pump.
