I asked about this before and the midwife said avoid kissing and holding but to stay in the same room as you’ll create more antibodies in your breast milk for the baby :)
lol I’d say get him to sleep seperate..but that’s coming from someone who’s been sick so much over last couple months and I do not want a new cold and I want as much sleep without disturbance as possible. So we literally slept seperate last night. Each to their own.
Agree with Melissa. Caught some awful flu/cold illness in January from my partners workplace and we slept separately to avoid me catching it given I was in my second tri. Still got it anyway as I'm a firm believer in it'll be in the air no matter what you do, but it was a precaution we wanted to take and although it was a really tough few days I do feel like I recovered quicker because we kept our distance and I had the bed to myself to fully rest without being disturbed. I was disinfecting all high-traffic areas like doorknobs, light switches, the banister, etc. didn't make an ounce of difference for us unfortunately but definitely recommend no holding, kissing, interacting, just keeping distance until he's better.
@Kim ooh that sucks you guys all still got it!! I managed to avoid it this time around! I’m soooo grateful as I was really struggling being sick days on end while pregnant. Worst especially when exercise etc also helps boost ya mood but too sick to go etc. sending ya all the good vibes for the healthiest winter ahead!! 🤞🏼🙏🏻
I would say jus avoid holding and getting close. That's what I would do anyway
