Working out struggles

I used to work out everyday for 2 years not even kidding. 13 weeks in and I’m sad to admit I’ve lost my motivation. Anybody else dealing with this?? Sometimes working out makes my tummy hurt but what I always see mums doing it what do I dooo??

I think the key to working out is making it enjoyable. If your old workouts aren’t enjoyable now that you’re pregnant, time to try something different! If you usually do hiit maybe try a slower paced weightlifting, or if you usually do that maybe try some cardio, or maybe try a few different classes like yoga or Pilates or Zumba or aquafit or get out of the gym and go on a hike. You might find different types of exercise more or less tolerable through different stages of your pregnancy but it’s all good for you. There are also pregnancy specific workout plan apps that guide you through different stages and postpartum. It’s also ok to ease up a bit if you just don’t have the energy you once did

To keep the motivation for me was not saying I have to go to the gym… as soon as I say “I have to go to the gym” , it’s a dreadful experience

I just slowed down my work out. I haven't worked out since I was 28 weeks pregnant and I just don't find the time now. Every moment I get a chance to run I do. My lungs taste like blood doing it but my head feels soo much better once I stop coughing.

You are pregnant? I did prenatal walks w other pregnant mums, and I did prenatal Pilates
