Yes, I have a call booked with his respirologist, but also interested in some firsthand experiences from other moms.

What's going on with the little dudes?

I think my brother experienced this from a severe asthma attack as a teenager, but I'll have to ask him or my mom about it.
I hope your little guy is doing ok! And I hope you're hanging in there too. I'll light a candle for his health ✨

he’s had recurring pneumonia and so I brought him to urgent care on Monday for an xray and they saw this. So now I’m not sure if it’s new or the pneumonia was misdiagnosed (three times 🙃).

now I'm worried because one of mine has had recurring pneumonia. He also gets ear infections a lot. They won't listen to me the first time I take him because autistic kids don't show symptoms the same way.

Lucas seems unbothered by the cough but it sounds terrible and is way worse at night. You can also hear a rasp in his breathing all the time.
The doctor tried to brush me off, and was basically like “does he look like a sick child to you?” I almost said “does he look like a child who’s had 2 major surgeries in the last 14 months to you?” I even had to push for the X-rays, and then he tried to downplay the findings and just told me to follow up with our family doctor (technically I guess there was nothing else he could do, tbh). I decided to follow up with his respirologist instead.
I hate that they expect kids to “perform” being sick in a certain way, instead of believing a mom who knows her kid.
