Shaken Baby Syndrome

I am 2 months postpartum and have such a fear of SBS. Like I feel like I cant leave my little one with anyone, not even my family who I know would never harm her. The anxiety over this is so real. Anyone else have crazy anxiety about SBS? How did you overcome it?

Absolutely yes! I just isolated myself and my baby so that I could spend as much time bonding & cuddling and making sure I know where my baby is at all times, really building up my confidence in what’s my gut feeling and what’s anxiety. You will in time start to feel less anxious about your people being near your little one❤️

My partner was really scared about this...you have to be intentionally doing it. Its not like rocking them aggressively to sleep. It sounds like you might be suffering from a bit of post partum anxiety and would really benefit from cognitive behavioural therapy. Just something to consider!!

Im not concerned about doing it myself, and I know it doesnt happen accidentally. Im just more so concerned of somebody watching her and getting frustrated and doing it😫
