Babys strange sleeping position
Does anyone else's baby sleep like this? He's 8.5 months and has started sleeping in a sitting position but with his body bent forward. He's been doing it for a couple of weeks. He doesn't sleep like that for very long, I'd say 30 mins tops, and then he moves or falls forward. But when he is in this position he seems to wake himself up more. Just wondering if it's safe

My little girl went through a stage of doing this when she was learning to sit up we used to lie her down flat. I can’t remember it lasting long.
Hey, no this isn’t safe as can stop/restrict breathing as bent over. When you notice they do this I would go in and lie them down. This habit will soon stop if you introduce a new one xx
Yes my son does this - its common when they start crawling x

I actually googled your questions as I also found it a little different. Google said it is normal bc not all babies like the traditional way of sleeping but to monitor if he is breathing okay and it’s safe for small periods of time under parental supervision..you can also re-position him if needed :)
