Some people are scared to start their own business because for that to happen you really have to put yourself out there. Digital marketing is definitely one of the ways to have your own business
The amount of time (number of years) it takes for an independent business to yield a return, let alone be enough to support your family, and the $ you need to put into helping make it successful just isn't a reality for many folks
Start up costs, oversaturated market, and the fact I don't have/use social media (besides this dumpster fire). when the kids are in school I do want to get into being a part time/hobbiest/ niche tattoo artist.
Biggest factor for me is I don't have anything to sell that's not ripping off other moms mostly. I'd love to work for myself but I'm not about to get into MLMs or other scams to do it. And I don't have the upfront investment capital to do something like start a book shop cafe like I would like to do.
I started my own I'm a recreational counselor who offers non clinical therapy in Ontaro. I do online and in person. Addiction, Depression, abuse, grief, anxiety and just healing/prevention in general. It took me 4 years to build up myself confidence to just take the plunge and leave the toxic Healthcare facilities.but again limited on funding because I offer what can be affordable not what's going to make me bank. Morals and big heart
