Milk & bedtime

My son is a brilliant sleeper, he goes to bed, I give him a 8/9oz bottle, put him down and off to sleep he goes. For the past week, he has been refusing his night and morning bottle and just screaming as soon as I put him down to sleep at night. The bottle used to settle him and put him to sleep but now he isn’t taking it, a cuddle isn’t quite doing it at night. Once he’s asleep, he’s fine, it’s just getting him to sleep. Any tips?

Could it be teeth? Mine is all the sudden having a hard time at night and I think his mouth may be hurting from teeth coming to the surface... he refuses his paci which is odd..

Also side note have you tried the milk in a cup a little before instead of the bottle? Then brush teeth right before bed instead. It might get at any itchy gums. That's what I'm about to try myself

Mine has in the past month liked nursing less (she still really likes it most of the time but sometimes refuses) but she started to really like to be held sideways on our glider and rocked to sleep more than before.
