Is there a bug/insect that comes out in your area that you hate

Wasps!

Not lady bugs, but the Japanese version of them that bite. 😫 ( I haven't seen a genuine lady bug since I was a child) also Japanese beetles, June bugs, stink bugs... oddly, I'm not bothered by the Cicadas. 😅 oooo, the Blue Wasps and blad faced hornets are rude af. Honeybees, and bumble bees I adore, though. 🤣 I think that's it.. I can tolerate some spiders depending n their size/type. And for the love of all things holy, those annoying pesky little fruit flies that seemingly appear from thin air when it's summer. 😫

Last year had a bad invasion of earwigs.. the came out at night and would destroy my garden. It was creepy walking around at night and seeing things covered in em.

We have a moth plague here in New York. When we see them, we kill them.

@Kassidi my kids won't play with them, but I have gotten bit by them before. It's just a pinch, but it still freaks me out haha I thought it was all ladybugs, but I just recently learned that it's only the Japanese version... every year my parents' home is invaded by them. 🤢

@Haley they are not harmless..they spray and it stings. A few years back one was in my hunting boots and I didn't realize it until it sprayed me it burnt skin so badly and left a nasty stain in my skin that lasted weeks.

Cockroaches. They are worse during the rainy season 😖

Mosquitos. so many mosquitos

These massive black and red or black and yellow wasps. Honestly they are so big you can hear them hit the window if they fly past the house and they are AWFUL 😭

And it’s summer now so im sure there will be some scorpions out too 😭

ya’ll ever got stung by a wasp? 😭 but yes we get wasps by our front door

Ants, spiders, flies

@Sharon we get them in PA too. They are hell on maple trees. They actually killed 2 trees in my in-laws yard ☹️

Flies only need to worry about them in hot weather. Or wasps.

Stink bugs and boxelder bugs

Ground bees. My kiddo has stepped on more than a few.

Midges!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And those big spiders that you can literally hear walking on the laminate flooring 😨

False widow spiders 🕷️ I’m good with the other ones even pick up the big house spiders but can’t be dealing with them widows 😭

All of them I fucking hate all bugs. Wasps are out I’m allergic I will literally stay in forever if I see them. We had a couple ants in the kitchen so I put out poison and it attracted them! We went from like 5 to 100 and I lost my shit. Those attacking fake ladybugs HATE! I even hate butterflies. Weirdly cicadas I’m good with because they’re so big you always see them coming. If any other bug was that big though I’d have a heart attack and die

I had ants in my kitchen til I started leaving used coffee grounds out and they’ve basically disappeared. Could be a coincidence or maybe they hate coffee

There’s a desert centipede here in NM and they’re like indestructible, poisonous, their bite/pinch is painful and they can even burrow their legs in you 😩 I now get a bug spray quarterly.
