Introducing a formula bottle

My baby turned 6 months recently and I am looking to introduce a formula bottle. She is currently exclusively breastfed. I did give her formula when she was a newborn till I established my supply but since about 2 months old she has been exclusively breastfed. So I am not sure how to go about introducing a bottle now. Should I start at night or try during day time first? Thanks

Not sure it makes a difference what time of the day you give it so completely up to you. It’s a myth that formula before bed will make them sleep longer… trust me 😂😅 x

We do ours at night purely to give me a break from breastfeeding but as Carla says it hasn't improved sleep for us

Thank you @Carla and @Georgie. I will try it early evening so my husband can feed her. Yes this definitely a myth! My exclusively breastfed baby slept 10 hour stretches before hitting sleep regression! So it has nothing to do with the type of milk.

Wow! I don’t think I’ve seen 10 hours of sleep since I was a newborn myself 😂😅

@Carla lol I thought I some how trained her to sleep that much only to get hit with sleep regression! It has humbled me. Now she wakes up every 3-4 hours 😭
