My son is seven weeks tomorrow has this happened to anyone before he was taking 4 to 5 ounces of milk every two hours and now suddenly he is only taking 2 ounces is it just a phase he’s going through?

@Samantha I will keep a eye on him as it’s only starting happening this week
He could also be going through a growth spurt. My little boys the same x
@Kimberley he eventually drinks a 4 ounces but not in one go he will drink like 2 ounces then half an hour later he’ll drink the other 2 ounces
Mines the same, or sometimes he'll drink 2 oz bottles all day then 1 4oz. As longs he is healthy and gaining weight i wouldn't worry about it. Their eating habits change x
Yeah we went up to 4oz and the past 2 days she’s only taking 2-3oz. I remember my other little girl did the exact same xx

Yeah it’s developmentally normal for milk intake to fluctuate. Could be just the normal or he might be coming down with a wee cold or something which will typically affect their milk intake. Just keep an eye on him and as long as he’s well then no cause for concern x
