Does your LO still use a bottle?

At my LOs 18 mon appt. her ped. told me to start transitioning off the bottle. I was worried at first too but she did it no problem.
My son will be 2 in july and he gets a bottles when hes sleeping we plan on having him off by the time he is 2
19 months also he just stopped. he eats enough throughout the day so at night he wouldn’t take the bottle & i didn’t force it. This was a few months ago.
I stopped it cold Turkey at 18 months. He’s now 20 months and goes to sleep just fine
I read they should be off the bottle by 18 months and I think our pediatrician said to start transitioning off starting at a year soooooo, we stopped the bottles cold turkey a couple of days after her 18 month birthday. She did fine. Never did take to sippy cups but uses straw cups just fine and is about 50/50 total success versus total failure with an open cup.
When should you stop the bottle? Yesterday but as that isnot an option.. any day now. They will fiss for one day or one week but then they will be ok
14 mo we're trying to get rid of the bottle altogether, he only gets water in them.
Mine LO uses a bottle only for when she first gets up in the morning, going down for nap time, and bedtime. Any other time she uses a sippy cup
