Also depends on the baby. The regular nipples almost drowned my son we had to get the premi flow ones for tommie tippie

Is it ok if of course sterilised and cleaned with baby Milton to use second hand bottles with new teats ?

My niece and nephew (twins) used the bottles interchangeably as long as they're sterilised I don't see a problem!

@Jo so bottles should be replaced after 4-6 months and the teats should be replaced every 2-3 months so it depends how old they are x

@Emily my partner mum has a problem with second hand bottles said they should get new . I personally feel as long as they are clean and of course in good condition it doesn’t matter ( the world waste so much and I am all for re using of course I appreciate we all have different views )

@Jo if you were looking at a more environmentally friendly option there are quite a few companies which do glass bottles which don’t need replacing just the teats will 🙂 x

@Megan yes I am as I personally don’t believe in waste and find this shocking you bin them after that amount of time .

@Jo yes it’s crazy how short the times are, we use boots recycling scheme for our bottles and teats, you get money back and they get recycled so felt like a win win 🙂

@Jo yes the majority seem to, you can also recycle nappy and wipe packets etc too it’s really handy 🙂

@Megan generally speaking are baby safe with a glass bottle or would they need a glass bottle protector over the bottle ?

@Jo we had one of the tommie tippee ones as it came with a bundle it never had a cover and was always okay, I never let him have it on his own though like I would with the plastic once he got to throwing stage! 🤣

@Megan when do they start throwing bottles ?

@Jo my little one was at about 7/8 months, he was quite chilled and used to sit next to me on the sofa feeding himself so it was rare that he threw it too far ☺️
