First period after birth

I think anything up to around 6 weeks would still be considered lochia

I'm 4weeks pp and still had very slight coloured discharge but it looks like I've started my period today too. It's very dark red/brown.
I think it all depends on our bodies to be honest Hun. I wasn't expecting it to come so quick as like I said, I still had some discharge and I'm EBF so thought that would prolong it from coming

I can't say I've read that online anywhere only that most people's last upto 6 weeks. It does say that like a period, lochia will subside before going away so if you start to get dark red blood it's likely the start of your period

Are you breast feeding or pumping? I bleed for weeks when I was pumping in the beginning.

I have been bleeding since I gave birth to my youngest daughter and she now 4 weeks I just stopped bleeding two days ago

this is basically what I’ve had. It had basically stopped, save for maybe a little bit of “discharge” that was like yellow/orange in colour when I would go to the toilet. But then yesterday I started getting proper red blood like it would be during a period

I’m pumping as unable to breastfeed. The bleeding has only really just started after subsiding at about 2 weeks pp
