@Grace it's definitely disordered! Orthorexia is the term for people who fixate on healthy eating to an unhealthy degree. I hope he gets help for sure

This is a ...disorder. idk if it's an eating disorder but it's something and he honestly needs help. I feel bad for him. He's been doing this for a year in private because he clearly feels ashamed. He knows it isn't usual behavior or he would have shared that. Im sure he feels so sad and judged. But....this would absolutely put me off. He would need to get help and actively work on it or I'd have to leave.

Honestly in this situation it seems to be some kind of …. Eating disorder? Or eating disorder adjacent.
